René Lampley Turner
Board Member
René Lampley Turner is married with two adult daughters. René is the owner of RLT & Associates, a premiere financial services agency with seven locations in Metro-Atlanta. She is passionate about providing financial education to middle-income families and helping them build generational wealth. Rene' also serves as a business coach, mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs who desire to own a financial services agency. René is a Registered Investment Advisor and Mortgage Loan Originator. She has been featured in 'Success at Home' magazine, 'Essence' magazine and 'The Wall Street Journal' as an entrepreneur and a financial advisor.
Lanee Blaise
Board Member
Lanee Blaise loves bringing creative projects to life as a TV/Film Screenwriter, Executive Producer, and Speaker. She’s most proud of her role as Co-Host of the 7 years running inspirational Imagine Yourself Podcast! Lanee loves God, Family/Friends & Creating uplifting stories, in that order. Growing up with 7 siblings, being married for over 25 years, and being an empty nester after her two kids went off to college has given her a lot of fun scenarios to write and talk about.
Jasmine Scott
Board Member, Secretary
Jasmine Scott is a servant of Jesus Christ and dynamic leader at VOUS Church. She has dedicated her life to serving her church where she oversees the Administration Team and serves her community through facilitating city-wide outreaches like Easter Egg Drops, Back to School Bashes, and Holiday Giveaways. Whether leading projects or serving on Sundays ,she is committed to seeing the community around her thrive. Jasmine is pursuing her Health Science degree at the University of Miami. She enjoys listening to music and making Jesus known to others.
TaJuanna M. Taylor
Board Member
TaJuanna M. Taylor is a Business Operations Specialist and certified Project Management Professional with over 20 years of experience spanning state government and small business sectors that served underrepresented communities. TaJuanna brings to the board her hope in God and a stellar reputation for operational excellence and project management, including over 9 awards for leadership, social impact, exemplary service and more from her work in cultivating teams and providing strategic business consulting. As a daughter of a survivor of double-digit years of domestic violence, TaJuanna has a personal connection to the Zarephath Village cause. She is dedicated to amplifying the non-profit’s impact and ensuring its work reaches those who need it most, creating lasting change.
Andrea Cox
Board Member
Andrea Cox, BS in Finance and MHRM (Masters of HR Management) is a leader and mentor in finance, marketing, event planning, and non-profit fundraising within the private sector. She has also cultivated relationships for the awareness of preservation of forgotten African American historical information and places. She is excited to translate her 25+ years of marketing strategy, cultivating relationships, and preservation for the awareness of the needs of women and children desiring a moment of stability during a time of uncertainty.
Eavey-Monique James
Board Member
Eavey-Monique C. James is a Certified Public Manager, social worker, and social services administrator with over 25 years of experience helping and advocating for others. She serves in her local church- Mt. Zion New Testament Church of God on St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands as a teacher and exhorter of the Gospel, praise team member, women’s ministry secretary, and District Education Coordinator. A hopeful romantic, forever foodie, and mother of two daughters, Eavey-Monique enjoys family time, writing songs and poetry, and binge-watching witty tv. Having personally encountered various aspects of domestic violence, she trusts God to use her testimony and experiences, not only for the advancement of the Zarephath Village, Inc. mission, but ultimately for His glory!
Karen Chapman Wright
Board Member, Interim Treasurer
Karen has over 20 years experience in the property/casualty insurance field and currently serves as a Senior Facilitator. Karen is passionate about wellness and believes our body speaks and how we can we naturally address what it is saying. She is an Emory-trained health coach and holds an Associate in Risk Management designation. Karen serves on the Women’s Build committee of Habitat for Humanity and serves on the welcome team at her local Church. In her free time, Karen enjoys traveling, long walks in nature and spending time with family and friends.
Jacqueline Barrett-Warner

Jacqueline Barrett-Warner is a wife, mother of two and a registered nurse of 20 years, facilitating health fairs, teaching strategies for managing health issues, and providing medical screenings in addition to her every-day profession duties. She is am motivated by the love of Christ and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of people, leading her to volunteer her time and expertise towards various causes such as, teaching reading and writing skills in an Adult Literacy Program, mentoring High School students at my local church and sponsoring women for life coaching sessions. Her Nursing career has allowed me to instruct a diverse collection of other nurses and students. She is honored to be a part of Zarephath Village.
Sonjia Lewis Gamble

I have lived in Atlanta since I was a child. I graduated from Spelman College and Mercer University. I served the public schools system for 33 years as a primary grades teacher and recently have retired. I have one daughter who is a graduate student at Columbia University. My future humanitarian interest include helping single mothers and daughters navigate their educational pursuits through financial literacy and creative resources. In my leisure, I enjoy reading, creative writing and observing nature. My favorite scripture is Ruth 3:11.
Jordan Scott

Jordan Scott is a student at the University of Georgia studying Bio-Chemistry. She is a distinguished member of the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority and holds the office of Chapter Events Director. Jordan is also passionate about serving her community, specifically children in foster care. She enjoys cooking and her favorite pass-time is the beach.
Pamela Rivera
Board Member
Pamela Rivera is a woman of God, wife, mother of three and grandmother of ten. Her passion to advocate for the needs of families in crisis grew out of her career as an educator, as well as her volunteer work at Wellspring Treasures and Midwest Food Bank. At New Hope Baptist Church she takes on a variety of roles, including Co-Facilitator of the Women’s Prayer Ministry, a member of the Worship Arts Ministry team, and VBS Music Program Coordinator. She is excited about the vision, mission and impact that Zarephath Village will have in our community.
Shonda Scott

Hello, my name is Shonda Scott. I have worked in the Human Services profession for approximately 8years as a Medicaid Eligibility Specialist. As a Medicaid Eligibility Specialist, I play a vital role in strengthening the health and stability of my community. I am passionate about assisting children, the elderly, people with disabilities, and low-income households gain access to essential healthcare services, by guiding individuals and families through this often complex process of obtaining Medicaid benefits. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling when time permits. I’m excited and grateful to be a part of Zarephath Village, and I am looking forward to Serving, Stabilizing and Strengthening one community at a time.
